Villa Carlo Alberto al Quirinale is a park in the heart of Rome and is a great spot for the kids to have a run-around in between a spot of sightseeing.
For those kids who are just finding their feet like Clarrie, it gave an excellent opportunity to climb up down the stairs at the base of the statue of King Carlo Alberto, an equestrian king.
We spent a couple of hours here after taking a ride on the Hop On Hop Off bus, and then got to walk home through the Liberation Day festivities.
