Largo di Torre Argentina completely blew my mind.
I didn’t even know it existed until we almost walked into it.
This is where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Amazing stuff. This innocuous hole in the ground is 100m from our apartment in the middle of RomeĀ and holds remains of architecture and art dating back over 2500 years.
My mind is still reeling.
It’s also now a cat shelter. Go figure.
