The Twelve Apostles are a must see if you’re driving the Great Ocean Road. Even though we’ve been living in Melbourne for a few years, we’ve only just made it to see this incredible part of nature.
Driving from Melbourne, The Twelve Apostles are about a three hour drive- longer if the traffic isn’t favourable, so it’s just that little bit too far for a day trip. We’d been to Lorne a few times, and Torquay too, but the Apostles have always been just that little way too far down the road.
Well, not today. Spending Christmas at Skenes Creek (just next to Apollo Bay) has given us the opportunity to do a lot more of the Great Ocean Road than we’ve ever done.
